Shackles: High Load, High Tensile Steel & Galvanised
Shackles are available in two types either untested inexpensive commercial grade or tested and certified with stamped safe working load meeting British Standard or US Federal specification. All these shackles are available in either a galvanised or self colour finish, in D’s or Bow type. Test certification is available where appropriate. Trawl, stainless steel and special shackles are also available.
Alloy Steel Shackles - Hi Load
Material: Body and pin high tensile steel, quenched and tempered. Safety Factor: 6 times WLL= min breaking load Finish: Galvanised Standard: Generally to US Federal Specifi cation RR-C-271
High Tensile Steel Shackles - BS 3032
Commercial Shackles
These shackles are available hot dipped galvanised and self colour untested and inexpensive. They are not designed to be used in lifting applications.
Larger sizes available all sizes up to 3.75T available in galvanised as well as self colour.
